Bill Carter
Certified Independent Education Consultant
Before starting Carter College Counseling, Bill has years of experience in education administration as a former Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Shippensburg University and Immaculata University. Bill also has fifteen years of experience as a former college and high school football coach, spending time advising his former players and their families through the college recruiting and admission process.
Bill worked for The College Board as Director of Customer Service Strategy and Delivery and Director of Law Support Services at the Law School Admission Council, working with the top law school admission offices in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Bill received his College Counseling certification from the University of California in 2016.
Bill is a former first-generation college student and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Susquehanna University and was a two-sport athlete in Football and Swimming and Diving, earning Middle Atlantic Conference and Honorable Mention Small School All-America honors for Football. Bill earned his Master's of Science degree in Management from Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown, NJ.
